Biographical Info

Henita R. Schiff has been in the insurance and financial industry for over 20 years. She started her business focusing on Retirement plans for profit and non-profit organizations. In addition, she educated her clients on the value of having long term care insurance and the financial protection it provides. She is a Certified Long Term Consultant.

She continued her education and in 2010, received her Certification as a Patient Navigator from the Harold P. Freeman Institute in New York City. She wrote proposals for both Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Medical Center for the Kidney Transplantation departments on the value of having a Patient Navigator for the pre and post-transplant patients and their families.

While discovering all the logistics of the hospital world, she was approached to look at doing business on the Medicare side of insurance. She received her certifications to sell Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage plans and Drug plans in 2013. Henita began offering educational seminars to the public on the in’s and out’s of insurance when turning 65, the laws, rules and regulations. She is also able to assist eligible individuals under the age of 65 and on Medicare.

Henita’s experience and knowledge in the Health Care environment enables her to identify and understand the needs of individual’s when making their elections.
