Elaine Myada is an expert communicator specializing in social marketing with 20 years’ experience who’ has delivered creative, engaging, results-driven and award-winning campaigns including traditional and digital communications for federal government, state/local government as well as private industry clients.
In 2013, she led the creation and implementation of the first integrated public health education synthetic marijuana campaign targeting youth in Washington, DC. The K2 Zombie DC campaign was highly successful garnering national and local media coverage. But most importantly, the campaign educated and engaged youth in DC about this dangerous drug.
She has worked with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), DC Department of Health, DC Department of Behavioral Health, Epilepsy Foundation, The Home Depot, Best Buy’s Geek Squad and YMCA. Her work has been recognized with more than 40 internal agency and external PR industry awards since 2002.
