CATONSVILLE’S FRIDAY CONCERTS GO VIRTUAL
Frederick Rd Friday’s season is here but “the times they are a changing”. The Frederick Rd Fridays committee has put a virtual tweak on the season this year. We can all still share our love of music and support the nonprofit organizations who benefit directly from the concerts each week. Our nonprofit partners provide services for some of the most vulnerable in our community CEA, Children’s Home, YMCA among many others. Without a successful Frederick Road Fridays Season these nonprofits will find it hard to survive.
With the participation of many of our local bands, we plan to make FRF a LIVE Facebook event ALL SUMMER LONG!! We don’t want to lose one of our longest running and most successful community events, but we really need your help. We need to “BAND” together to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and make sure the events that make Catonsville so welcoming are here in the future. Chamber events like FRF, The Sunday Farmer’s Market, and Arts Festival depend on the solvency of the Chamber. Your support this season will be imperative to make sure we can bring these events back next year.
Grab some carryout or delivery from your favorite Catonsville restaurant along with some liquid libations and enjoy the sounds of summer from Facebook in your own backyard! This season of Frederick Rd Fridays may be a little different, but the show must go on!
Follow the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce on Facebook, if you haven’t already and look for our Frederick Rd Fridays (FRF) Events throughout the season. Click “going” on the events and share the events with your friends! Invite everyone you know far and wide! Virtually we can have friends from all over the world join in the Frederick Road Fridays fun!
Follow along in the event posts to learn about the bands, the nonprofits benefiting from the concerts, the sponsors who make this event possible and more! There will be a Venmo and PayPal link for you to donate to support the Nonprofits and the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce. Frederick Rd Fridays is our biggest event of the year and the love and donations from the ‘Ville and all our friends is the help we need to keep this party going!
It wouldn’t be summer in Catonsville without Frederick Rd Fridays and we look forward to sharing the summer sounds with you anyway we can!
